Sights & Sounds: Landscaped pathways meandering around the sides and rear of the building; in season the sweet scents of varying flowers and plants, and - at the front and rear approaches to the Building - water cascading from fountains:
The front: a hand-carved fountain of the young Neptune, the Roman God of the Sea, pouring water into the basin, partially hidden from view within a ring of cryptomeria trees.
The back: a brick patio cut into the hillside overlooking Lake Lanier, a rest area to enjoy the view, picnic or eat lunch, and listen to the sound of splashing water. |
